Smartwatches

Check the exact watch and connection type. A paired watch and an independent child’s watch may need different subscriptions.

Use cases in this guide

  • Apple Watch linked to your existing number
  • Samsung Galaxy Watch with a mobile plan
  • Google Pixel Watch with cellular service
  • Independent Apple Watch for a child or family member

We do not yet show confirmed, comparable offers for this use case. Use the checks below when speaking with your manufacturer, installer or provider.

Check before choosing

  1. Check that the watch is a cellular variant and that the provider supports its model and regional version.

  2. Ask whether a main subscription with the same carrier is required. Apple Watch family setup has separate rules; check country and carrier.

  3. Check number sharing, calls, texts, location services and roaming for the watch itself. A phone eSIM is not automatically a smartwatch plan.

Compare the complete cost

Add the main subscription, watch add-on, activation and other charges over the same term.

A second profile can carry an extra monthly charge. Check what happens when changing phone carrier or watch.

Ask the provider

Does this provider support my exact watch with the required main subscription or independent family setup?

Take this question, your device model, countries and usage to the provider.
