Check your own school calendar before booking.

Use the calendar for your education community

The Flemish Easter break is 29 March–11 April 2027, including Easter Monday on 29 March. French-language education has partly different holidays; higher education sets its own calendar. The ten-day example is editable. Check the actual school and return date before fitting flights into this window.

Choose the pace before adding stops

Decide whether you want one coastal base or a separate city-and-coast itinerary. Transfer days still count towards plan validity. Ask the operator for the real transfer schedule and check current official travel information for your nationality. This route example does not establish entry eligibility, safety or available excursions.

Work out which phones need their own data

Egypt is outside EU roaming. Do not assume hotel Wi-Fi covers transfers or that every travel eSIM allows a family hotspot. The calculator is for one device: estimate shared use on that phone, or compare a separate budget for each independently travelling phone. Check SMS and ordinary calling requirements as well as data.

Sources & selection

The Flemish calendar is a specific starting point. Keeping other Belgian education communities separate avoids the wrong return date; family data needs remain a separate decision.
