Mediterranean cruise: data in port, a separate plan at sea 2027
Keep your excursion map ready without assuming that a Europe eSIM covers the ship. Spain, France and Italy are the land stops in this example; onboard connectivity needs a separate check.

This is not a sailing schedule or a school calendar. The planner compares land-based mobile plans, not maritime satellite service.
First check the data you already have in port
For an eligible Spanish contract, check your EU roaming allowance before buying another plan for French or Italian land visits. The rule depends on the network you connect to, not simply whether the ship is close to a coast. Review the operator’s country list and fair-use allowance. If a stop includes a country outside your contract, add it explicitly and check that destination separately.
Separate the ship’s connection from a travel eSIM
A package listing Spain, France and Italy does not prove access to the ship’s mobile or satellite service. Ask the cruise operator about its own internet arrangements, and read your mobile operator’s maritime charges. Your Europe notes that satellite-based onboard mobile service falls outside the EU regulated roaming caps. Do not treat a successful connection as confirmation that it is included.
Prepare the next port before you leave Wi-Fi
Save your excursion meeting point, booking and return instructions while connected. To avoid automatic onboard mobile use, review flight-mode and roaming settings for every active SIM, following your operator’s instructions. The seven calendar days below include the whole example window; they do not promise a signal at sea. Adjust the stops and duration to your actual cruise, and keep ship-service costs outside the land-plan comparison.

Sources & selection
Your Europe distinguishes terrestrial mobile roaming from satellite-based service on ships. This is the specific problem the guide solves. It is not evidence of cruise eSIM search volume or a claim that our catalogue contains an onboard package.
