Plan the region before the data plan

Pick a western or eastern itinerary that fits your real arrival airport. Our 18 days are an editable duration, not a cross-country driving promise. Count arrival, transfers and return days. If the journey includes the United States, add a US stop rather than assuming every North America product covers both countries.

Prepare parks for time without a connection

Parks Canada offers an app with offline access. Download the material you need before leaving a connection and check what is available for your chosen park. This does not confirm cellular service on a trail. Keep booking references and a suitable backup navigation method available without mobile data.

Check tethering and the full journey length

A car hotspot, photo backup and several phones can change the budget substantially. The calculator estimates one phone; choose a heavier profile when sharing is intended and verify that the provider permits it. Compare the actual countries, supported network and activation rule when those are confirmed. Unknown coverage fields remain unknown.
