Machines and telemetry

Match connectivity to the machine and service provider. Small telemetry messages and large software updates have different requirements.

Use cases in this guide

  • Industrial telemetry
  • Pumps and tank levels
  • Generators and energy installations
  • HVAC and technical building systems

We do not yet show confirmed, comparable offers for this use case. Use the checks below when speaking with your manufacturer, installer or provider.

Check before choosing

  1. Ask the manufacturer which modem, SIM profile, APN and networks are supported. Record countries and expected service life.

  2. Measure regular telemetry and budget separately for remote diagnostics and firmware updates. Check reception inside the enclosure.

  3. Agree who controls profiles, keys and access rights. Ask how devices transfer or leave the supplier.

Compare the complete cost

Calculate total cost over the same term: hardware, installation, SIMs, fixed fees, data, management and support.

Separate per-machine charges from one-off business charges. Do not multiply a business-level fee by every device.

Ask the provider

Which connection does the manufacturer approve, who controls access and what is the fleet cost over our required term?

Take this question, your device model, countries and usage to the provider.
