Winter in Thailand: mobile data for 45 days 2026–2027
Stay longer, move less and give your mobile plan the same breathing room. A six-week trip needs more than a cheap first week: check the last day, renewal and the laptop you want to connect.

The 45 days are an editorial example, not an immigration allowance, school break or guarantee of good weather.
Write down the final day before comparing
Set the example to the number of calendar days you actually need, including arrival and the return trip. A 30-day allowance alone does not cover 45 days. The planner excludes unconfirmed activation rules and needs a confirmed offer for the requested duration; an empty result is not evidence that no other plan exists. Do not assume it has arranged two consecutive purchases for you.
Ask separately about data and expiry
Can you add data to the same profile, does that change its expiry, and can a replacement start after the first package ends? Get those answers for the exact product. True/dtac states that its tourist SIM validity cannot be extended by topping up after expiry and directs continued use to its own identification process. This is an example of a provider rule, not a universal rule for travel eSIMs.
Test your intended hotspot before relying on it
Choose a small set of bases and keep your lodging’s connection details alongside your mobile plan. Check whether tethering, long video calls and the intended device type are allowed. The calculator estimates one phone, not a measured remote-work setup. Keep your original number if you need verification messages, and save installation instructions offline before changing profiles.

Planning estimate for one phone: 0.15, 0.5 or 1.5 GB/day, plus 20%, rounded up per stop. Hotspot use belongs in the same budget.

Sources & selection
True/dtac’s own tourist SIM conditions distinguish package validity from topping up after expiry. They show why duration deserves its own guide. Those operator-specific terms are not applied to all international eSIM providers or used as proof of seasonal demand.
